  Simple food, done well. Rib eye very nice. Little chilly in the restaurant. Slow service at the beginning with lack of communication between kitchen and front of house re. Missing menu items, but picked up and nothing wrong and nice food.

  Whilst the decoration was lovely, modern and clean and the main course was very tasty, the service was rather slow and cumbersome. They brought us out a drink drink that we didn't order, and this was put on the bill (was then taken off). The creme brulee wasn't torched and we were offered an alternative for free; this alternative was also on the bill (again then taken off). I ordered another drink as we ordered dessert and this arrived when most of us had finished dessert so it was awkward trying to drink up when everyone else had finished eating. Reading other reviews, they appear to have similar experiences of rather poor service. They were advertising for more staff so hopefully this will improve soon. It was the only downside really as otherwise everything else was lovely.

  I cannot rate the Arkle Manor and their staff more highly. We celebrated Mam's 60th a few years before here, and it was great then. Our reception was on 8 April. The day was perfect including the weather. The food was sublime and they managed to serve 25 people at the same time which is not an easy job in itself. Service was impeccable. They went above and beyond for us to make it a memorable day. I was an anxious bride the day before but Neil the manager was fantastic. He noted everything we asked for in the set up of the private area. They managed to change the set up of the room for when the evening guests joined us too. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. His team executed the plans perfectly with support of our bridesmaids. I could not fault one part of the day. It went like a dream. Thank you to everyone that made our wedding day possible! It is one we will remember for a lifetime.
